Tisdale Food Forest
About the project
The Tisdale Food Forest is a regenerative agriculture project on public land in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In 2015, volunteers planted around 500 fruit and nut trees and shrubs along the L.L. Tisdale Parkway just north of downtown.
The goals of the Tisdale Food Forest are food security, noise reduction, beautification, stormwater purification, and education.
The project was completed in partnership between Heights Neighborhood Association and Up With Trees.
